Alongside Wellbeing with Charlie, I continue to work as a freelance counsellor with local agencies across North Wales, supporting people through a wide range of life's challenges.
While most of my counselling work takes place within these agency settings, I also offer a small number of private appointments each month for those who feel we'd be a good fit.
If you're looking for compassionate, down-to-earth support, I'd love to hear from you.
I believe the most important part of counselling is feeling comfortable enough to be yourself.
My approach is warm, collaborative and non-judgemental. Rather than telling you what to do, I'll work alongside you to help you make sense of what's going on, explore what's important to you and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for your life.
I work with adults experiencing a range of challenges, including:
I'm a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within its Ethical Framework.
Alongside my private work, I continue to support clients through local agencies across North Wales, which is a part of my work I genuinely value and intend to continue.

To ensure I can continue balancing agency work, community projects and family life, I intentionally keep a limited number of spaces available for private counselling.
This means I may not always have immediate availability, but if I feel I'm the right person to support you, I'll always do my best to help - or, where appropriate, signpost you to other trusted services.
Not at all. Many people come to counselling because they know something doesn't feel right, even if they can't quite put it into words.
Sessions are £50 and last for 50 minutes.
I offer a free 20-minute initial consultation, either by phone or online, to give us the opportunity to get to know each other, discuss what you're looking for, and decide whether we're the right fit before making any commitment.
Counselling is booked in blocks of six sessions.
This gives us the time and space to build a therapeutic relationship and explore things properly, rather than feeling like we have to fit everything into one or two appointments. Towards the end of your six sessions, we'll review how things are going together and discuss the next steps if further support would be helpful.
I offer sessions from a selection of private, pre-approved locations across North Wales. The location we use will depend on your circumstances and what feels most appropriate, but confidentiality, comfort and safety are always my priority.
I'll discuss the available options with you during our initial consultation.
If you'd like to explore working together, simply complete the enquiry form below.
I'll be in touch to arrange your free 20-minute consultation, answer any questions you may have, and help you decide whether counselling with me feels like the right next step.
As a qualified counsellor and BACP member, maintaining appropriate professional boundaries is very important to me.
Because every person's circumstances are different, I don't have a blanket policy. If this situation ever arises, we'll talk about it together and consider what's in your best interests, while ensuring any decisions are made in line with the BACP Ethical Framework and with your wellbeing at the centre.
Sometimes knowing where to turn is the hardest part. Below you'll find a selection of local and national organisations, services and helplines that may be able to offer further information or support.
