I'm a qualified counsellor, mum of two, coffee enthusiast, runner and someone who believes the best conversations often happen outdoors or over a good cuppa.
I live in North Wales with my family, where you'll usually find me exploring new places, planning our next camping trip, braving a cold dip or encouraging people to join me for a gentle run and a coffee afterwards.
I'm not interested in perfect routines or impossible standards. I'm much more passionate about helping people discover small, realistic changes that make everyday life feel happier, healthier and a little more meaningful.

For a long time, I was always searching for the next thing that would make me happier.
Like so many people, I thought wellbeing was something you achieved once you'd finally sorted your life out. I tried to change everything at once, only to end up back where I started.
Over time, things began to change.
I stopped drinking. I started running. I spent more time outdoors. I found incredible people, discovered a love for community, and learnt that the smallest habits often have the biggest impact.
Looking back, none of those moments changed my life on their own.
Together, they changed everything.
That's the journey that inspired Wellbeing with Charlie.

My dream is simple.
I want Wellbeing with Charlie to become a place where people feel welcomed, encouraged and inspired to take that first small step - whatever that looks like for them.
Whether it's joining a beginner run club, trying an alcohol-free weekend, finding a beautiful local walk, meeting new people or simply making more time for themselves, I hope this community reminds people that wellbeing doesn't have to be complicated.
Because I truly believe that happier lives aren't built through huge transformations.
They're built through movement, connection and growth - one tiny step at a time.
And I'd love you to be part of it.
Alongside building Wellbeing with Charlie, I continue to work as a freelance counsellor with local agencies across North Wales. I'm a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), working within its Ethical Framework to provide safe, professional and compassionate support.

I joined Nina from Wonderfully Sober to chat about my journey since becoming alcohol-free on 1st January 2025. We talked about everything from navigating relationships and social situations without alcohol, to finding an amazing sober community and discovering just how much life can change when drinking is no longer at the centre of it.
It was such an open, honest conversation about sobriety, connection and figuring it all out as you go.

I teamed up with Arclett to share a little of my alcohol-free story – from years of trying (and trying again!) to finally finding a life where I no longer feel like I’m missing out.
We talked about the things I’ve gained along the way, including being more present, finding new communities and showing up as the version of myself I always wanted to be.
